Are you interested in becoming an Account Manager?
Account Managers at Alchemis work with clients in the marketing, creative and communications industries. You’ll need to be flexible, quick to absorb new information and enjoy talking to anyone and everyone. But it’s not just about being good on the phone, although that’s a large part of it.
Our Account Managers have three main roles:
- Making contact with marketing decision makers on behalf of your clients to learn about their business and identify challenges they have that your clients can help with
- Scheduling qualified meetings with these prospects
- Managing client relationships
You’ll also need to understand intelligent targeting and how to secure the right opportunities at the right time with the right person. Successful candidates can expect to build up to handling a client base of at least four or five agencies on an ongoing basis.
We’d expect you to have a minimum of twelve months experience working in a comparable outbound phone-based sales environment (for example, media sales, recruitment or telemarketing).
