Richard
I joined Alchemis in 2009 having worked in media sales for ten years.
I'd always found working with marketing services agencies enjoyable so
wanted to continue to be involved in this industry sector, albeit moving from
selling to them to selling on their behalf.
I work with a great range of clients from research to full service and have
learnt loads about all parts of the marketing mix. Not only is my client base
very diverse but the Alchemis team is a great mix of different types, which
makes for a fantastic working environment. The Directors really know how to
reward hard work and success.
Being a crucial part of my clients' new business strategies means that I
don't just feel like a member of the Alchemis team but also an integral part of
all my clients' teams as well.

My experience prior to joining Alchemis in 2008 included ad sales,
organising events and sales & marketing for a management consultancy.
I have found at Alchemis a place where you can be proud of what you actually
achieve for your clients and also where you can have great fun in the process;
a unique combination that I hadn't encountered before in my 19 years work
experience.
It's a challenging job because you do need to deliver to your clients, but
it's also hugely rewarding. There is a real atmosphere, no day is the same and
you are surrounded by a bunch of people like nowhere else; imagine Mock The
Week meets QI meets Eastenders meets The Apprentice meets Match of the Day
meets Friends... and a few others inbetween.
At Alchemis, you're not another phone monkey bashing the phones with a tired
old script; you really have the chance to develop your own style, meet clients
and get to learn an enormous amount about the marketing industry - you also get
great support throughout to help you do the job, the way it's supposed to be
done.

Prior to joining Alchemis in 2007, I’d worked for 8 years in a sales
environment in roles ranging from travel sales to sales recruitment.
Alchemis offers me a sales environment which constantly challenges my
ability, whilst ensuring I have fantastic support from the managers. And the
diversity of my role is a far cry from my previous employment, ensuring each
day is never the same as the last!
In short, it’s a great team, a great company and a highly rewarding sales
role.

I joined Alchemis in 2008, having studied Marketing and Advertising for my
degree and worked in ad sales for 2 years. Working for Alchemis seemed like a
perfect opportunity to combine my knowledge of the marketing industry with my
experience in sales.
I have worked on various clients at Alchemis from direct marketing to above
the line, from research to online marketing. What I find keeps the job
interesting after 3 years is the fact that I have a wide range of clients that
target an even wider range of sectors, so every day is genuinely different.
Also, seeing a client's business grow as a direct result of your own hard work
is massively rewarding.
The team at Alchemis are a diverse group and very enjoyable to work with,
always being there to lend a helping hand or pass on sage advice.
